Proximity Collective was formed by seven practice-based PhD researchers following their participation in a series of workshops relating to the research exhibition that I facilitated. Throughout 2019, these students engaged in a series of short residencies and workshops in artist venues across Manchester and Salford. The project ended its first instalment with an exhibition at Paradise Works in Salford in December 2019.
